Broadly speaking, my research focuses on analyzing the seismic recordings from earthquakes in order to better understand the different tectonic and geodynamic processes. Another objective of my research involves on seismic hazard assessment. Furthermore, I use the microseismic noises to study the the swells, landslides, etc... . In my work, I use different seismological methods including receiver functions, travel time tomography, surface wave dispersion, ambient noise, earthquake locations/relocations, source inversion, polarization computation and power spectral density analysis.


2018 – present: PostDoc at University of La Réunion (ReNovRisk Project)

Project: Studying swells activity in La Réunion using microseismic noise.

2015 – 2017: Postdoctoral fellow at Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, German Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), Germany (Alexander von Humboldt fellow).

Project: Lithosphere structure in Madagascar: Implications for the Geodynamic processes that have shaped Madagascar, and mitigation of the seismic hazard assessment for Madagascar.

2014 – 2015: Long term visiting scientist at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, German Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), Germany (DAAD scholarship)

Project: Mapping the traces of the assembly and multistage break up of Gondwanaland in the lithosphere of Madagascar.
