My research is focused on several topics dealing with the geodynamics of volcanoes and rift systems.

I address with colleagues the questions of (1) the deformation processes experienced by volcanic edifices and their control on the magma path, (2) the evolution of rift systems with a special focus on the East African Rift System and the Comoros Archipelago, and (3) the dynamics of erosion of volcanic landforms and its control.
